I’m KKarina, a botanical artist based in Edinburgh. I also love working with graphite pencil and oil, but watercolour asks for more patience and skill — and that’s the discipline I want right now, so it’s where most of my attention goes. It’s a period that calls for focus and precision.
The studio
Based in Edinburgh, I work mainly in botanical watercolour — plants, flowers and fruits observed up close. Each piece is an invitation to slow down and notice the small details we usually overlook.
